“Best nz contemporary gin” at Australian Gin Awards 2025: chemistry Gin wins gold plus design award

Chemistry took home three accolades from the Australian Gin Awards in Sydney. (We didn’t get a sticker for the design award.)

We are proud to announce that Chemistry Gin has been awarded Gold at the 2025 Australian Gin Awards, recognised as the Best New Zealand Contemporary Gin. This prestigious blind-tasted competition brings together some of the most respected judges in the industry, and we are honoured to have Chemistry Gin stand out among world-class contenders.

In addition to this spirits accolade, Chemistry Gin also received an Honourable Mention at the 2025 Australian Gin Packaging Awards. Notably, we were the only gin commended that wasn’t presented in a bespoke bottle — a true testament to the strength of our design, which balances science, art, and human connection in every detail.

These awards mark our fourth international Gold medal for taste and further recognition of our design excellence on the global stage.
